Our branding of this ministry is "Seeds for Seniors"
One of the greatest challenges we face in feeding our seniors is providing them with fresh produce. We have implementing a plan to use the surrounding land around our church. Our goal is to use all of our land to produce food for our senior population. We will do this through raised garden beds, fruit and nut trees, and vine produce. The vision with this is to get seniors helping seniors as we will seek out those wonderful retired Master Gardener’s to help in the gardening and distribution of the harvest. Our first harvest has resultes in 1027 fresh bags of produce that have neeb sitributed into the community
My challenge to you, as a generous, spirit driven community, is to embrace every opportunity to care for others in every way you can with whatever tools and resources you have. Let’s learn to love God and people more today than yesterday.
