In the past:

• 1st Annual 2008 – the Marathon raised $77,000 to help in the loss of over $300,000 dollars from the Midwest Floods of 2008. The river swallowed our church and 535 homes.
• 2nd Annual 2009 – The Marathon raised $17,000 after a year of being displaced and mucking out after a national-spotlight natural disaster
• 3rd Annual 2010 – the contributions in this year’s event will help us fund the Senior Food Pantry, Medical Accessories Closet, and a Handicap Van to be used for transportation needs of our community.

Neighborhood Church was established in July of 2009 and has identified a way to make a difference in the Greater Cedar Rapids Community.

The Senior Citizen Food Pantry, Senior Citizen Medical Accessories Closet, Senior Citizen Spiritual Care, and Handicap Shuttle Van are focusing on meeting the unmet needs of Older Adults and their families.

Since startup, several thousands of pounds of food have been given out and a multitude of medical supplies ranging from hospital beds to wheel chairs to bandages have been given to the elderly.

Any amount you contribute will be put to use within the Cedar Rapids community and is greatly appreciated.  You are helping change an entire community!
